SCRIPTURE BASED SCAVENDER HUNT
FELLOWSHIP WEEKEND

Oh it was a beautiful weekend, perfect for camping and riding. Friday night we sat
around the camp fire and ate and fellowshipped. We laughed and caught up on
who, what, when and where. It was nice to see new faces camping with us. The
practical jokes amongst the "Wild Bunch" continued as usual. Hey did anyone
else see a lizard in the woods? Saturday was wonderful as we saddled up, got our
gear together and set out to "Seek & Find". Margie and her bunch did a great job;
there were lots to see and much NOT to take from the woods. (Sorry Margie)
Hope everyone found all there beads and was able to get all the "treasures" back.
I loved the scripture that hung with the beads on the trees. Saturday evening
brought a meal fit for a cowboy & cowgirl as the case maybe. Bar-b-queue,
beans, slaw and the best bread I ever tasted! The desserts weren’t that bad
either....As we were all rubbin' our bellies and settlin' around the fire, we had a
local cowboy by the name of Julian Brown to bring us some good singin' if I do say
so myself. It was nice to sit around the fire Sunday morning and hear praise's of
what God has done and lift up before Him our needs. Larry as always had a
thought provoking devotional that challenged. For those of you who missed out
on the weekend I hate it for ya but Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise well
be back next year! Until then, stay straight in the saddle, kiss your horse good
night and remember to thank the Good Lord for the freedom we have to ride and
fellowship and pass on the "Good News"              thoughts from Kathy
